Did you know????

Did you know....

The average total lifetime cost to society for infants born with Spina Bifida may well exceed $1,000,000.

One MILLION dollars!  That's a LOT of money.  It is so important to educate people about Spina Bifida and all the ways to help.  Donations to the Spina Bifida Association can absolutely help lower these costs to individuals and families with Spina Bifida.

4B4the4th

I just signed up as a team captain for 4b4the4th to raise money for those affected with Spina Bifida. My goal is to raise $4000 and I would love your support!

Spina Bifida is very near and dear to my heart.  My youngest was diagnosed with SB during my pregnancy.  It was a very scary time.  I really didn't know much about SB and everything I heard was AWFUL!

Raising awareness about Spina Bifida and helping families that have it is a wonderful cause.  Please click the link below and donate to show your support.

Thank you.

2 Months!

Wow! Two months have already gone by! Time sure does fly when you're having fun! lol.  Augusten's 2 month check went well.  He's 12lbs 10.5oz and 22in long.  What a chunk!

His pediatrician said that everything looks good.  However, his hearing is a bit off, but he's having that re-evaluated at his 6month check.  He still doesn't have an anal wink, but we won't know if that will cause him problems until later.  And he still has that newborn cross-eyed thing going on.  If that doesn't resolve in the next couple weeks then he'll have a vision screening.

But he's growing and developing well and hitting all of his milestones so far.  He is such a blessing.
